Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Research Programmer, including logistic and administrative arrangements for the scholars’ visits and on-site support during their visits
- Provide administrative and secretarial support to the team, including managing appointments and meetings, handling emails and phone calls, preparing documents and expense claims, and arranging overseas travelling
- Oversee day-to-day office operations of the Dept, including procurement activities, monitoring inventories for office equipment and supplies, and liaising with external collaborators and visitors
Requirements:
- University degree in hospitality, business administration or human resource management’s related fields
- At least two years of relevant experience in handling administrative duties
- A good team player with good communication and organisational skills, and good attention to details
- Proactive and versatile. Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Well-versed in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese word processing
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua
